Roadblocker Installations
Frontier Pitts manufacture and install hydraulically driven Roadblockers and Rising Kerbs.
A road blocker is an anti-ram security device designed to prevent unauthorized vehicle access to a secure area. It typically consists of a barrier that rises from the road surface to block the passage of vehicles. These devices are used in various settings, including car parks, entrances to sensitive sites, and areas where vehicle access needs to be controlled for security reasons.
In-ground road blockers: These are installed flush with the road surface and rise when needed.
Crash-rated road blockers: Designed to withstand impact from vehicles, often used in high-security applications.
Automatic road blockers: These are hydraulically powered and can be raised and lowered automatically, often with remote control or access control integration.
Rising kerbs: A type of road blocker that resembles a raised kerb when activated, effectively blocking vehicle access.
