The PAS 68 Terra Surface Mount Blocker is the ONLY surface mounted HVM Blocker to be successfully vehicle impact tested to the BSi PAS 68 specification AND remain bolted in its original position during and after impact.

Concertina Skirt prevents potential trapping areas.

Successfully impact tested to BSi PAS 68 stopping a 7.5t N3 vehicle travelling at 50mph (80kph) which equates to 1852kJ. On impact the blocker stopped the vehicle within the aperture.

The Terra Surface Mount Blocker’s Top Plate can be finished with Frontier Pitts Lifetime Paint; an anti skid resistant treatment which has been fully tested under laboratory conditions for at least 12 months.

Finish: Shotblasted, hot zinc sprayed (galvanised), primed and finished with a final coat of polyurethane paint. Client to advise RAL paint number. Alternative finishes available on request. Frontier Pitts Special Lifetime Paint; an anti-slip paint for road vehicles available on request.

Accessories

Signage	Warning and information signs installed on the barrier boom such as ‘STOP’ ‘NO EXIT’ and ‘NO ENTRY’
Traffic Light System	Standard Traffic Light systems are highly recommended to be installed with all road blocker and bollard systems to advise all users of its position, and are supplied as standard. 100mm traffic light head can be pole or mounted on control cabinet
Lights in Blocker	Internal lights within the skirt of the road blocker for better visibility

Totem Traffic Light System	Totem Traffic Light systems are optional and an upgrade to the standard Traffic Light system. Traffic Lights are highly recommended to be installed with all road blocker and bollard systems to advise all users of its position.
Accumulator	In the event of a power failure or sabotage, the accumulator can raise and lower the blocker/bollard for a number of predetermined operations. An accumulator is a self contained charged unit with battery backed control system.

Manual Handpump	In the event of a power failure, a hand pump/release can be provided to enable the manual raising and lowering of the blocker/bollard.
Hand drill to operate manual hand pump	Hand drill to operate manual hand pump on a Rising Terra Bollard or Terra Blocker.
Vehicle Detector Loops	Vehicle detector loops installed beneath the road surface to detect vehicles. This will prevent the automatic equipment from closing on a vehicle within the aperture. Safety induction loops cut into the road surface. This will prevent the gate from closing on a vehicle within the aperture.
Safety Photocells	Safety Photocells produce beams of light which cross the road way to monitor vehicle and pedestrian movement. If an object breaks this beam, the automatic equipment will stop & reverse. On gate installations, two pairs of photocells are usually fitted. Ultra Sonic Sensors are also available.
High Security Cabinet	Provides high security protection to the control cabinet of Frontier Pitts PAS 68 Anti Terra product range. Special Security cabinets can be fitted and tested to BRE 1175 with 6 point security locking mechanism and fire resistance to DIN 4102. High security mauer key lock, Class A, ECBS/ENV 1300 approved, with similar rating to BS EN 1143-1 1997.
Anti Skid Paint	The Terra Blocker’s Top Plate can be fully coated with an anti skid resistant treatment which has been fully tested under laboratory conditions for at least 12 months
