The Terra Ultimate 180° Hinged Gate is the enhanced version of the Terra Ultimate 180° Swing Barrier; the IWA 14-1 impact tested, Bi-directional, Lightweight, manual swing HVM Gate which is easy to install and easy to operate.

The Terra Ultimate 180° Swing Gate has been successfully impact tested to IWA-1 stopping a 7.2t vehicle travelling at 80kph (40mph).

At the forefront of technology, the sleek, manually operated Terra Ultimate 180° Hinged Gate is the ideal solution for access points which need to be secured with occasional access, out of hours security, or remote locations with power supply restrictions.

The Terra Ultimate 180° Hinged Gate is easily installed in a shallow foundation (foundation type B) embedment depth of just 350mm, which securing apertures up to 6 metres. The Terra 180° Hinged Gate is secured by an anti-tamper locking mechanism which encases the gates locking pin and is resistant from attack by a wide array of hand tools and battery powered tools.

The Terra Ultimate 180° Hinged Gate is a bi-directional HVM Gate, available with right or left hand hinging, therefore the impact beam can be opened in either direction depending on site requirements.

The Terra Ultimate 180° Hinged Gate is secured by an anti-tamper locking mechanism which encases the gates locking pin and is resistant from attack by a wide array of hand tools and battery powered tools.

Signage

Warning and information signs are recommended to be installed with all automatic equipment to advise users of its operation

Hinged Gate Warning Sign

Indicates and warns users of the swing of a hinged gate during opening and closing

Traffic Light System

Traffic Light systems can be installed with Automatic Gate systems to advise all users of its position. 100mm traffic light head can be pole or mounted on control cabinet

Vehicle Detector Loops

Vehicle detector loops installed beneath the road surface to detect vehicles. This will prevent the automatic equipment from closing on a vehicle within the aperture. Safety induction loops cut into the road surface. This will prevent the gate from closing on a vehicle within the aperture.

Safety Photocells

Safety Photocells produce beams of light which cross the road way to monitor vehicle and pedestrian movement. If an object breaks this beam, the automatic equipment will stop & reverse. On gate installations, two pairs of photocells are usually fitted. Ultra Sonic Sensors are also available.

Gate Safety Edge

Safety Edges are normally fitted to automatic gates. However they can also be installed beneath a barrier boom. Safety edges prevent the barrier lowering on a person or vehicle in the event it is activated. Safety edges are flexible strips which, if depressed, send a signal to the power source to stop.

Gate Infill

Weldmesh should be clipped to the gates infill bars infill to prevent pedestrians putting their limbs through.

Sounder

Sounders/Audible Alarms provide an audible warning that the automatic equipment is in operation.

Flashing Beacon

Flashing Beacons provide a visual warning that the automatic equipment is in operation.
