The Fitters are responsible for the final assembly of the Security Equipment in accordance to assembly drawings issued by the Drawing Office.

  • Collate materials required to complete Bespoke Product manufacture. This may involve unloading deliveries.
  • Assemble into a complete product in accordance to job specific specifications and drawings.
  • Ensure the aesthetics of the product remain of the highest quality for the client.
  • Use manual handling equipment where required.
  • Prepare equipment for factory acceptance testing and complete appropriate paper work

General Duties

This role will be working as part of the Repairs Team, managing the repairs of equipment installed across the country.
You will need to produce, chase and action quotes. The role will involve liaising with our engineers and clients, organising repairs to provide a quick and efficient service.
The role will also include being the point of contact for some of our largest customers and dealing with all their needs. This may include site visits for review meetings and large projects.
 
Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Able to demonstrate practical basic engineering knowledge gained either through industrial placement, degree or project work.

  • Responsible for calibration of Test fixtures, Jigs and Testing Equipment.

  • Ensuring Non-Conformities reports are raised once the activities deviate from the Contract specifications.
  • Investigate and Implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Recording analyzing and distributing statical Information on a weekly/Monthly Basis.
