Due to our fast expanding business, Frontier Pitts is looking for Two Electromechanical Production Operative to be based at our Crawley HQ.

Responsibilities

  • Working from drawings to electrically build products. You will be given the relevant parts and drawings, and will work autonomously to complete the product to customer specifications, alerting the supervisor to any issues.
  • Ability to manufacture to a high standard
  • High attention to detail and ability to inspect own work
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workplace.

Essential skills

  • Must have previous mechanical assembly experience
  • Must be able to read electrical & mechanical drawings
  • Must have a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Willing to work day and late shifts pro rota.

Desirable

  • Experience of wiring panels
  • Experience of high voltage
  • Experience of access control systems
  • Experience of hydraulic systems

Purchase Ledger Clerk- Maternity Cover – 1 year minimum contract

Purchase Ledger Clerk, Maternity Cover
Frontier Pitts welcomes applications for a Purchase Ledger Clerks to work in our Accounts Department. The main duties of Purchase Ledger Clark include matching and coding invoices, preparing and running BACS payments, reconciling supplier statements and working out VAT payments. The Purchase Ledger Clerk will work as part of our finance team.

The role is to provide a professional and efficient service to the finance function, monitoring how much is owed at all times and providing accurate financial information to the Finance Manager as needed. Outlined below are a number of duties that this job role entails:

  • Matching, checking and coding invoices
  • Working out VAT payments
  • Making payments via BACS and cheques
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Filing invoices
  • Managing petty cash
  • Data entry
  • Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary

The Ideal candidate:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid team working skills.
  • Self discipline and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
  • Experience in Excel and Microsoft packages
  • Knowledge of software and database packages such as SAGE
  • Demonstrable experience of bookkeeping and BACS payments

  • The ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, although full training will be provided for our specific requirements.
  • A full driving license, preferably clean.
  • Be self motivated to work individually but adaptable to work as part of a team.
  • Able to communicate in a clear, concise, logical manner both verbally and written.
  • Electrical and mechanical experience.
  • Fault finding, repair, installation and commissioning experience.
  • Ability to conduct site surveys.
  • Good customer service skills.

The applicant must:

  • Have a good level of fitness due to the physical demands of the job.
  • Be able to pass low level security clearances.
  • Have a flexible and positive outlook.
  • Be able to attend out of hours call outs.
