Season’s Greetings

2022 continued the busy wave of 2021 with lots of projects being specified and installed.
This year brought its own set of tests to the market, but Frontier Pitts has embraced them and risen to the challenge. We would like to take this opportunity to look back at 2022 and report on its positives, whilst also thanking our staff, suppliers, and agents around the World for all their continued hard work and support.

Research and Development certainly did not slow down in 2022. Behind the scenes products are being developed and redesigned to incorporate the latest technologies, and to make the products easier to transport around the World, to install and to maintain.

Our large range of IWA14 and PAS68 impact tested Anti-Terra products continue to be specified and installed on a variety of projects, including Government Buildings, Critical National Infrastructure, Datacentres and Utility sites. Indeed, our Terra Bi-fold has seen a huge increase of installations as it is dual certified to both IWA14 impact tested and LPS1175 Security Rated, intruder resistant. With the Terra Bi-fold on the outer layer of such schemes, our Platinum range of LPS1175 Gates are specified and installed on the inner layers of the security onion. Our Terra Diamond Turnstile, our Platinum Pedestrian Gates and the unique Platinum Turnstiles then provide LPS1175 security rated pedestrian access control. Our LPS1175 range of products will continue to grow as Architects and Security Consultants ask us to push the boundaries to create specific product solutions for their needs.

The biggest achievement of 2022 is being awarded the International Standard Organisation (ISO) Integrated Management System (IMS), combining ISO14001 Environmental and ISO45001 Health & Safety into our well-established ISO 9001 Quality Management System, to improve efficiency and meet the high standards required by our clients.

Under the scope of the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of steel fabrications, including electronically powered gates and barriers, an integrated management system shows Frontier Pitts commitment to encompass all Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental (QSHE) elements under one umbrella. This ensures continuous performance and improvement, and conformity to PAS99 requirements.

We began the year at the Intersec exhibition in Dubai and ended the year back in Abu Dhabi catching up with our Middle East colleagues and enjoyed a successful ‘Education Day’ where we were joined by BRE and Horiba MIRA giving presentations on the latest standards.

We also enjoyed other in person exhibitions with IFSEC and International Security Expo catching up with lots of existing customers whilst also showcasing our latest product innovations. We look forward to these shows again in 2023.

With continuous manufacturing, installations, and PPM maintenance visits and numerous export projects have been delivered around the World with all our branches and agents continuing to support our customers on the ground. We would like to thank all our staff and agents for all their hard work and support this year. We are proud of the Perimeter Security and Hostile Vehicle Mitigation manufacturing specialist we are today and look forward to Protecting Your World for decades to come.
