Swivel Skirted Automatic Barriers
An automatic barrier with a full height swivel skirt for added security.
Available with a Hydraulic Motor for longer length booms, or a torque motor.
Skirts installed above and below the boom. As the barrier boom rises, the skirt folds towards the boom. Full height swivel skirts provide the speed and flexibility of a rising arm barrier, and the deterrent of a gate, but at a much lower cost.
- Torque Motor – Maximum boom length: 5500mm
- Hydraulically driven – Maximum boom length: 7500mm
Automatic Barrier Access controls: A wide range of access control systems are available.
Automatic Barrier Safety control systems: Vehicle detector loops, safety photocells and ultra-sonic sensors are available.
The benefits of a torque motor automatic barrier:
- Instantly reversible
- Motor constantly energised: for security locking and provides protection against low temperatures and damp conditions.
The Benefits of a Hydraulically Operated Automatic Barriers are:
- An exceptionally robust heavy-duty boom
- Recommended for sites requiring a greater level of security and/or exposed sites where there is high wind conditions
- Unlimited duty cycles
- Secures large road widths
