Background

The HVM Terra Quantum Side Folding Bollards is the perfect solution for Hotel Drop Off Points

With hotel drop off points normally located just off busy public highways where limited foundation depths are found, Secured by Design recommended our client install an HVM impact tested shallow foundation solution.

Challenge
To install a Shallow Foundation Impact Tested HVM (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation) Automatic Rising Bollard that provides out of hours and emergency security against vehicle attacks at Drop Off Points.

Result

Frontier Pitts HVM Specialists were involved in the project from the early design stage, offering initial design advice and working closely with the different Stakeholders and Secured by Design officer to produce a tailored solution.

Our Automatic Terra Quantum Bollards were selected as the HVM Solution for the Estates Gateway. The Terra Quantum Bollard has been successfully impact-tested to the British PAS 68 specification stopping 7.5t travelling at 30mph. With its shallow foundation and unique side folding action, the innovative rising Terra Quantum Bollard was finished in stainless steel to blend in beautifully with the Estates contemporary feel.
