Frontier Pitts Counter Terrorist Blockers and Bollards at Critical National Rail Infrastructure premises

A key National Rail company contacted Frontier Pitts to protect particular sites nationwide that were deemed critical assets to their infrastructure and therefore particularly vulnerable.Achieving the right level of security at such locations is challenging, but a challenge Frontier Pitts endeavour to achieve for all its customers. Preliminary work included detailed VDA’s (Vehicle Dynamic Assessments) to understand the potential threat to each individual site.

HVM and Traffic ControlThe HVM (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation) Terra Blocker and Terra Neptune Bollards were installed to provide CT (counter terrorist) protection to the perimeter fenceline and main access gate. The perimeter line has been installed with 1200mm gaps between upright faces in accordance with IWA14/PAS69 installation guidelines.
