Frontier Pitts Hinged Vehicle Gate installation at a Hospital Service Yard

A pair of hinged swing gate have completed the build at a Hospital in the West Country.

The Automatic Hinged Gates are opened by the security guard via push button control during working hours, and via an intercom system during out of hour periods. Shiplap wood infill finished the gate.Frontier Pitts specialises in the manufacture, installation and commission of specialist bespoke large automatic security gates, either sliding, hinged/swing or bi-folding. Due to the restrictions on run back, Hinged Gates were the ideal solution.

The 10m wide Automatic Hinged Gates are automated using Frontier Pitts underground Trojan actuator system. These are powerful actuators designed for large, heavy gates and provide 100% duty cycle designed for continuous operation. The underground actuator is completely contained below the surface directly under the gate leaf hinge point creating minimal visual impact. At Frontier Pitts, we highly recommend safety features are fitted to your automated gate to comply to safety standards and alleviate the dangers associated with automatic gates. Safety devices on this installation include audible alarms, flashing beacons, safety edges and photocells.
