The UK’s terror threat level was raised from “Severe” to “Critical” in response to the Manchester Attacks, Prime Minster Theresa May says, which means further attacks may be imminent

It is the highest of five possible UK threat levels.

On Saturday the 27th May the threat was lowered back to Severe
