Sliding Gates securing under croft parking

Frontier Pitts designed and installed this security vehicle sliding gate system for the entrance of a new day centre which has been built on behalf of a Local Authority as part of their new approach to care to provide services to a wide range of public users. The new building was constructed on a steeply sloping site which varied over 8 metres in height from the highest to the lowest point. The two storey sustainable building features under croft parking, secured with a cantilevered sliding gate. Frontier Pitts worked closely with the Architect and Construction company to tailor make a bespoke sliding gate to suit the levels.

The automatic cantilevered gate, which is 100% duty rated as standard, requires no ground track or support across the roadway. The balance is provided by a unique runback track, which enables the gate to be fully projected across the roadway without tipping.

As Safety Assured Accreditated members of the Powered Gate Group (PGG), part of the Door Hardware Federation (DHF), all our Automatic Gates comply fully with the stringent safety standards and guidance from the HSE (Health & Safey Executive).

For additional peace of mind, the Self Storage company has covered the automatic sliding gate with a 4 hour Maintenance Contract which will ensure the gate remains operational and safe.
