Frontier Pitts Security Sliding and Bi-folding Speed Gates at Big Yellow Self Storage sites nationwide

We worked closely with the Big Yellow Self Storage architects to create a bespoke Security Gate solution that not only met their security requirements but also their brand image as the Security Gate was likely to be the first part of their facility that their customer saw. By creating an initial unique specification that covered both our Sliding and Bi-folding Speed models of Security Gate, we guaranteed their brand was reflected on all their sites security nation wide.

For their Sliding Gate the popular Security Sliding Gate is a cantilevered gate which requires no ground track or support across the roadway. The Sliding Gate is 100% duty rated – designed for continuous frequent use.
Power is supplied from a single phase 230V supply.
For sites where there was limited run back available, we matched their specification with our tracked Bi-folding Speed Gate for higher security. The gates were then automated with our heavy duty Trojan actuator for heavy usage sites.

As with all Frontier Pitts Automatic Security Gate installations, the Big Yellow specification included full gates
safety in accordance to DHF
