Why RoadBlockers?
Road Blockers are designed to offer an impact-resistant barrier to vehicle access and are well suited to ‘High Security’ sites. Such installations may range from car parks through to anti-terrorist protection of defence sites. Whether the requirement is for a simple, low cost rising kerb for relatively low volume usage or a heavy-duty, anti-terrorist IWA 14/PAS 68 rated HVM (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation) roadblocker for frequent operation, Frontier Pitts will supply a system designed to meet the individual sites exact needs. Security Height Road Blocker
Our ‘Security Height’ Road Blocker can be manufactured in lift height options of 353mm and 533mm. Available in widths up to 5000mm. The Security Height Road Blocker is recommended for sites requiring a greater level of security without the HVM rating. Power is supplied from a three phase supply.
Road Blockers & Rising Kerbs have a 100% duty rating; they will generally operate an unlimited number of cycles per hour.
Allows rapid traffic flow with adjustable operating times of 3-4 seconds.
The Road Blocker gives added security where vandalism is a risk.
The Road Blocker Top Plate is fully coated with an anti skid resistant treatment which has been fully tested under laboratory conditions for at least 12 months.
