When Frontier Pitts received a request to attend site to look at a turnstile unit with a broken rotor, the engineer did not quite expect to see what he found!

After not being in use for 6 months whilst the site was between tenants, the Frontier Pitts Turnstile became the ideal home for some blue tit birds to make their nest! The environmentally friendly motor and turnstile head obviously provided their eggs with all the shelter, warmth and comfort they needed, especially from the severe weather conditions we have been suffering lately.

So what happened next? After speaking with the client, luckily all parties agreed to leave the turnstile and let nature take its course. Once the chicks have hatched, a Frontier Pitts engineer will return to site and complete a full maintenance visit.
