Frontier Pitts latest installation in the Middle East saw three Terra Blockers and two sets of four Rising Terra Bollards provide a high security defense to the Qatar Foundations new Research and Development Complex.

Qatar Foundation, chaired by Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned, has spearheaded Qatar’s drive to create a leading establishment for research and development excellence and innovation.

The project involves the construction of a 200,000m2 world-class Research and Development complex. The first 40,000 m2 building of the complex opens imminently, adjacent to the Qatar Science Technology Park (QSTP). The HVM Blockers and Bollards, controlled with push buttons and interlocked to safety photocells, were installed by engineers from our local authorized agent, with full assistance for the Technical Division in the UK. Our Overseas Project Team attended site to ensure the installation met the stringent specification of IWA 14-2 and PAS 69 at time of CommissioningAny equipment or product installed in such hostile environments, demonstrates the credentials of quality and British Engineering. This is backed by product accreditations including PSSA (Perimeter Security Suppliers Association) Verified certification.

An ongoing maintenance service will be provided by the locally trained agent, with ongoing support and training from Frontier Pitts HQ in the UK.
