Equipment Installed: 1 no. PAS 68 Terra Ultimate Barriers, 2 no. PAS 68 Terra Swing Gates, 3 no. PAS 68 Terra Manual Barriers, 3 no. PAS 68 Terra Saturn Bollards, 4 no. PAS 68 Terra Jupiter Bollards with stainless steel sleeves. All finished in Marine Painted finish.

Since the Government announced all key National Infrastructure sites and locations within the UK were to be secured with IWA 14 & PAS 68 Hostile Vehicle Mitigation by 2016 to protect their assets, Frontier Pitts have been installing HVM Terra Gates, Terra Barriers, Terra Blockers and Terra Bollards at Nuclear Power Stations nationwide.

One such project included the installation of various equipment at a location so remote there was logistical challenges to overcome, as well as program limitations to avoid the severe weather experienced in the area.Frontier Pitts rose to these challenges with our dedicated Project Management teams working closely with the client to ensure the smooth delivery and installation of the project to fulfill the Nuclear Power Stations requirements.

The program of works for this site included Frontier Pitts LoTracker Security Gate and our ‘Bouncer’ Pedestrian Sliding Gate installed for the site entrance. These were backed by Hostile Vehicle Mitigation Terra Swing Gates (7.5t@50mph), Static Terra Jupiter Bollards (7.5t@50mph), Terra Manual Barriers (7.5t@30mph), Static Terra Saturn Bollards (7.5t@50mph) and Terra Ultimate Barriers (7.5t@50mph).

The success of this installation further emphasises Frontier Pitts’ unmatchable capabilities in not only meeting, but exceeding the requirements of sites with high levels of regulations and accreditations that their supplier must also follow.
