Impact test data

The test was conducted to prove the arresting capability of a Frontier Pitts Terra Blocker when impacted with a 7500kg test vehicle at a speed of 80km/hour (50mph). In accordance with
PAS 68-69 2007 and the Department of State test standard SD-STD-2.01 Revision A, Certification Class K12, an international 4700 DT466E lorry was used to act as the test vehicle, loaded with concrete blocks and fitted with test sensors, to meet the demanding specifications for this test laid down by the DOS.
