Health & Safety Policy

This Policy is issued in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

It is Frontier Pitts policy to provide and maintain safe and health working conditions, equipment and systems to work for all our employees to minimise the risk of injuries or damage to health.

To provide such information, training and supervision employees require to carry out their tasks competently and to prevent accidents/incidents and cases of work related ill health.

To provide and maintain plant, equipment and machinery, and to ensure safe storage and use of substances.

To consult with employees on the day to day health and safety conditions and encourage them to take an active interest in matters which effect their own health, safety and welfare, and that of their colleagues.

To allocate duties and responsibilities for safety matters to competent personnel and to define the arrangements required to implement this policy, making them available to all employees.

To implement emergency procedures in respect of fire or significant incident providing safe evacuation and/or first aid.

To review this policy and arrangements annually, updating them to reflect changes in legislation or in the operation of the business; informing employees of any changes.

We also accept our responsibility for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by our activities at both ours and our customer's premises.
