The motorised "Qwicket" (which can be operated by card reader, push-button, etc.) will open 90°, close and rebolt within a standard 15-second operating cycle. It is ideal for secure sites, where personnel access needs to be restricted or controlled.

The DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) came into force in 1995. Section 3 of the Act (which specifically mentions website accessibility) came into force in 2002. • The Qwicket is a motorised pedestrian gate

• It is impossible for unauthorised personnel to unlock the Qwicket, or to leave it in the open position

• On receipt of a signal from a push-button, card reader etc., the gateleaf unbolts and opens automatically by 90°, and then closes, rebolts and switches off in a standard 15-second operating cycle

• The overhead motor is fully enclosed, reducing the risk of wind-blown debris or adverse weather conditions affecting its operation

• The facility to open the Qwicket remotely and to leave it open for a pre-determined time is available

• Safety is provided by an adjustable slip-clutch mechanism, which allows the gate to be held open against light pressure. When the pressure is removed, the cycle is completed

• Available in two clear opening widths of 750mm and 1000mm
