Gate Safety Week 2016

As the Automation Specialists, the Safety of Automatic Gates is always Frontier Pitts top priority.

As Safety Assured qualified DHF (Door and Hardware Federation) members Frontier Pitts are dedicated to ensuring all automatic gate installations meet the required British Standards and Force Limitations.

Gate Safety Week

"Gate safety is all about raising public awareness of the dangers of using a poorly installed or maintained powered gate in the hope that we can prevent any further deaths or injuries." Neil Sampson, Powered Gate Group Chairman.

New Special Profile & Hinge Cover

As part of Frontier Pitts dedicated research and development program, and to highlight the importance of Gate Safety Week, we have redesigned our Hinged Swing Gates with a new special profile. Designed in accordance with BS7036 (part 4.7.1) and with EN16005 in consideration, the new profile ensures the spacing between gate leaf and gate post is always maintained during operation to prevent any trapping points being created.

Hinged Covers are also another accessory introduced by Frontier Pitts which can be added to existing gates.

Powered Gate Group

Frontier Pitts is proud to be a part of DHF's Powered Gate Group, and part of the development of the Safety Assured course which Frontier Pitts have since been accredited with.
