The Frontier Pitts crash-rated Terra Sliding Gate is available in widths of up to 6000mm and height of 4000mm Foundation depth of only 280mm required. Terra Sliding Gate can be manufactured with operating speeds as quick as 2m/second. The Terra Sliding Gate is the only sliding gate in the World to be impacted in both the fully closed and the half opened positions without the need for repair. Although the Terra Sliding Gate was impact tested with a solid sheet infill, the Terra Sliding Gate can be manufactured with a range of other infills including bar and weldmesh infill. |

Frontier Pitts have developed the Terra Sliding Gate to meet the requirements of our customers at Airports, Embassies, Palaces, Government Institutions and Military Bases around the World. The test was conducted to prove the arresting capability of a Frontier Pitts Terra Sliding Gate in the half opened position when impacted with a 7500kg test vehicle at a speed of 50mph (80km/hour). On impact the Terra Sliding Gate brought the vehicle to a complete halt with zero penetration onto site or past the impacted face of the unit. After the impact the Terra Sliding Gate remains fully functional and the operating mechanism continued to open and close the gate leaf. |
Terra Sliding Gate has been successfully impact tested in both the half open and fully closed positions. The Terra Sliding Gate stopped 7500kg travelling at 50mph (80km/hour) and continued to operate after impact. The Terra Sliding Gate is the first crash-rated half opened sliding gate on the marketplace to surpass the highest industry standards in the World. The results prove that the gate does not need to be in the fully closed position to withstand an impact. |

| The Terra Sliding Gate is part of the Anti Terra range which is the complete range of counter terror equipment. The Anti Terra range has been successfully impact tested in accordance with BSi PAS 68, stopping 7500kg travelling at 50mph (80kmph). The Terra Gate continued to operate after the crash test impact. |
