PAS 68 Classification Code: The Terra Automatic Rising Barrier, a vertically opened, reinforced boom, was impact tested in accordance with BSi PAS 68 standards. The test was conducted to prove the arresting capability of the Terra Automatic Rising Barrier with a boom length of 5000mm, when impacted with a 7500kg test vehicle at a speed of 65km/hour (40mph). |

| The Terra Barrier is part of the Anti Terra range which is the complete range of counter terror equipment. The Anti Terra range has been successfully impact tested in accordance with BSi PAS 68, stopping 7500kg travelling at 50mph (80kmph). |

The Terra Automatic Rising Barrier is available to secure an opening of 4500mm. A hydraulic motor operates the robust rising arm barrier boom which has a reinforced fixed end rest positioned at either end. In the closed position the boom can be securely locked using a powered magnetic lock. Key features of the Terra Automatic Rising Barrier include a range of operating speeds and secure magnetic locking. For added security lower folding skirts can be mounted to the Terra Automatic Barrier beam. Other standard barrier accessories such as boom lights and signage are also available. The Terra Automatic Rising Barrier requires minimal foundation depths of only 300mm, which can be deeper to reduce the surface area, suiting individual requirements. The Anti Terra range includes the Terra Blocker, Terra Bollard, the Terra Beam, the Terra Road Closer and the Terra Gate, which has been impacted in both the fully closed and half open positions, without the need for repair. |
The Terra Automatic Barrier, like all Frontier Pitts products are all designed, built and CE marked in the UK to the most stringent international standards. These tests have been witnessed by CPNI (Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure), previously NSAC (National Security Advice Centre) plus NICC; the UK Governments Advisory Body for Security. The Frontier Pitts impact tested Terra Automatic Rising barrier ATAB-65 is available in with a boom length up to 5000mm. |
