The Barricade Beam is
a fully cantilevered, impact resistant sliding beam, which has been adapted
from the original LoTracker sliding gate

Designed specifically
to withstand heavy impact such as vehicle attack

Particularly suited to
high security applications such as police and defence establishments,
government departments, prisons and high-security industrial or commercial
sites

The beam requires no ground
track or intermediate support across the roadway

The beam traverses the
roadway at a centre-line height of 1000mm.

It engages with a framework
mounted on the far side of the roadway.

It is recommended that
the beam is installed at an angle to the roadway so that the force of
an intruder is deflected away from the entrance, as well as being absorbed
by the beam.

Where the design allows,
the beam unit is fully built, tested and delivered as one complete unit
to minimise the difficulty of installation.

A standard Barricade Beam
is normally installed within one working day (subject to complexity of
control system), although subsequent backfilling of second pour concrete
will be required.
