The Terra Sliding Gate is part of the Anti Terra range which is the complete range of counter terror equipment. The Anti Terra range has been successfully impact tested in accordance with BSi PAS 68, stopping 7500kg travelling at 50mph (80kmph). The Terra Gate continued to operate after both crash test impacts. |

Frontier Pitts have developed the Terra Sliding Gate to meet the requirements of our customers at Airports, Embassies, Palaces, Government Institutions and Military Bases around the World. The test was conducted to prove the arresting capability of a Frontier Pitts Terra Sliding Gate in the half opened position when impacted with a 7500kg test vehicle at a speed of 50mph (80kph). On impact the Terra Sliding Gate brought the vehicle to a complete halt with zero penetration onto site or past the impacted face of the unit. After the impact the Terra Sliding Gate remains fully functional and the operating mechanism continued to open and close the gate leaf. |
